Sunset
Series of sunset photographs found online and altered through a controlled download error in an early version of Adium, a desktop instant-messaging application with peer-to-peer file transfer. By interrupting image transfers at precise moments, the software attempted to render the unfinished file by repeating the last line of received pixels across the remaining image, a malfunction I deliberately used as a generative method.
